Empower to Create
We are grateful for the resources that enable us to foster and uplift an artistic community. Our mission is to train, activate, encourage, and inspire Negrense Artisans to realize their full potential as dynamic individuals.
Our journey began with a commitment to preserving the local traditions of Negrense artisans and weavers. Guided by our reverence for the roots of our heritage, we ventured to Negros Island, where we sought out the skilled women of partner communities in Valladolid, Manapla, Cadiz, and Pulupundan.
These artisans have become integral to every step of our process. Their meticulous attention to detail and meaningful design is evident in every piece we produce. We've also ensured that our artisans have opportunities to embrace innovation in their craft, particularly with the iconic Hablon.
As we share their work with the world, we do so with the highest respect and pride. With every piece, we honor this shared journey with our community.
Our Goal
Slow fashion is a mindful approach to style that focuses on quality over quantity. It celebrates timeless designs, thoughtful craftsmanship, and ethical production, aiming to reduce waste and environmental impact. By choosing pieces that are made to last, slow fashion encourages us to embrace a more conscious way of dressing—one that values sustainability, supports fair labor practices, and nurtures a deeper connection to the clothes we wear. It's a movement that’s not just about looking good, but feeling good too, knowing your choices contribute to a better, more sustainable future.
